Saturday 18th July - Queensway parkrun
Course Description
The course is at Queensway Park, Wellingborough. The course is run on a mixture of grass and permanent paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain.
The course begins with a single anti-clockwise lap on the grass field. Participants then transition to a clockwise lap on the hard path, which leads to an out-and-back section. Following the out-and-back, you then complete a final clockwise lap and a bit, on the path, before turning onto the field to the finish. Please stay to the left hand side of the path at all times and follow the marshals’ directions.

Toilets are available at the back of Glamis Hall Community Centre.

Available Parking Locations
Thanks to the generosity of our local community, the following locations have kindly permitted parkrunners to use their carparks on Saturday mornings:

- Queensway Medical Centre: 14 Olympic Way, Wellingborough NN8 3QE
- Wellingborough Family Hub: Penrith Dr, Wellingborough NN8 3XL
- St. Marks Church: 142 Queensway, Wellingborough NN8 3SD
On-street parking:
- Booth Drive, NN8 6GR: The Park Farm Industrial Estate has plenty of on-street parking which you are encouraged to use rather than parking in the residential area surrounding Queensway Park.
Please park considerately and ensure that you do not block any access, please do not park in any other privately owned car parks, only volunteers and Blue Badge Holders will be permitted to park at Glamis Hall.
Location of start
The event starts in the centre of Queensway Park on the north side of the brook (w3w location: ///loudly.mole.swung).
Further details
If you have a club shirt please wear this, and we will do a group photo at 8.45am, near the start line.
As normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to run back and support others.
Many attendees will go for breakfast afterwards, for those who are coming along we will be going to The Ock n Dough Pub, 214-16 Farm Road, Wellingborough, NN8 4UF, which is about a 10 drive from the venue.
