Sat 23rd May - Leamington Spa parkrun
Course Description
The start and finish are at the football pavilion on Newbold Comyn. The course starts by skirting the football pitches, before passing through the gate on to the golf course border path. Then it's a lap and a bit before turning off to finish at the same point as the start.
Facilities
Parking: If arriving by car, please do not use the first car parks next to or opposite the leisure centre. Instead, continue along to the end of the road and use the car parks there (see the P symbols in the map above). Parking is free. Please park in the marked bays only and do not use the disabled spaces unless you have a permit allowing you to do so.
Please note that the car parks all have a height restriction of 2 metres (6ft 6”).
Toilets: Toilets and changing facilities are available at the football pavilion.
Location of start
The event starts right outside the football pavilion.
Getting there by road
Newbold Comyn is well signposted from all over Leamington and is easy to find. As you approach the Comyn, drive along Newbold Terrace East, passing Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre on your right and the Newbold Comyn Arms on your left. Keep going until you reach the car park at the far end of the road. Then follow the path to the football pavilion, which is ahead and just to the right.
Our postcode is CV32 4EW, but if you use this, some SatNavs will direct you down a no-access road (Greenwood Court). This will take you to the wrong place, so please ignore it if it sends you this way, and stay on Newbold Terrace.
Further details
If you have a club shirt please wear this, and we will do a group photo at 8.45am, near the start line.
As normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to run back and support others.
Many attendees will go for breakfast afterwards, for those who are coming along we will be going to The Royal Horse, Poseidon Way, Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick CV34 6SW which is about a 5-10 drive from the venue.
Many thanks,
JB
