The next race of our DRR club championships and number 3 of the EMGP 2026 series is fast approaching with the Market Harborough 5-mile on Tuesday 2nd June 2026, with the race starting at 7.45pm.
I would advise getting there in plenty of time to allow you to register and collect your number and warm up (runners who previous EMPG races this season will not need to register as they will already have their number, so they can just go to the start point), it would be nice for all members to meet up before and after the race to have a group photo for our social media, Once you have finished it would be nice if members could cheer on and support all the rest of the members still competing.

If anyone would like to come but is struggling with transportation to get to Market Harborough please let Tracy, John or I know and we will see if there are any members who could give you a lift.

Venue: Foxton Locks Top Car Park (off Gumley Road), 2.5 miles north-west of Market Harborough;

Route: One lap on undulating country roads
Directions: From Market Harborough: Head west along the A4304 towards Lutterworth. At Lubenham, turn right towards Foxton and after 1.5 miles at “T” junction adjacent to Foxton Primary School take the left turn towards Foxton. After 150 m turn left at the small cemetery then after approx 0.5 miles turn left into the Foxton Locks top car park.
From Lutterworth: Head east towards Market Harborough on the A4304. Turn left in Lubenham towards Foxton. After 1.5 miles at “T” junction adjacent to Foxton Primary School take the left turn towards Foxton. After 150 m turn left at the small cemetery then after approx a half mile turn left into the Foxton Locks top car park.
From Leicester: Follow the A6 towards Market Harborough. Turn right at the roundabout at the start of the A6 Market Harborough bypass. Up the long hill towards Market Harborough. Turn right at the first crossroads towards Foxton. Drive past the Gartree Prison entrance then pass the Foxton Primary School on your right and pass the first turn on the left until you reach the small cemetery where you turn left onto Gumley Road. After approximately a half a mile turn left into the Foxton Locks top car park.
Car parking: Visitors must follow the directions of the car-parking stewards.
Registration: The Registration Desk is in the marquee beside the car parking. There will be no need to register if you have entered by post and already have a number for the Grand-Prix Series.
Start: The race starts at 7.45pm
