We are having a go karting event at Whilton Mill - a go kart track approximately 10 minutes away from Daventry by car. The event format is that you are put into pairs, and drive for 30 minutes each (So includes a pit and driver swap half way through the hour race). Your team’s position is determined by how many laps you complete in your team. More details below.

“We look forward to seeing you for WM60- Daventry Road Runners on Friday, 1 November 2024 at 18:00. Your arrival time is 30-minutes before this time. Due to impact on other events, sadly, we cannot accommodate late arrivals and therefore, you may not be able to take part in the event.”
The cost of the event (again if 2 per team) is £68 per driver (£136 per team).
Once you have signed up to this session, I will send you bank details to pay. This is a first come, first serve situation, and your place will not be guaranteed until payment is received.
This will be a great social event, as half the drivers will be off course, and the bar will be open too. So even if you aren’t interested in taking part, please come along to enjoy the evening.
Also note, your team will be selected for you, via a seeded draw. Please can you let me know in the notes if you have been karting before/how much, to try and keep teams more even.
This event is open to DRR members and family, however they must make a guest profile to sign up to the session.
