Saturday 7th November Millennium Country parkrun
The Course
The course is 5k long. The course is at Forest of Marston Vale - Millennium Country Park, Marston Moretaine. The course is run entirely on trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Please remember that the parkrun uses shared paths. For the continued success of the event, please give way to other park users.
Course Description
The start is a few minutes' walk from the Forest Centre and follows an out-and-back course. Participants begin in a south-westerly direction, following the path clockwise to the turning point before retracing their steps back to the finish, which is in the same location as the start.
It is important that participants keep left at all times. One dog accompanying a participant, is most welcome.
Facilities
The Forest Centre has toilets near the café, children's play areas, countryside walks, a bike hire facility and free Wi-Fi.

The event start is a few minutes' walk from the Forest Centre (what3words: plotter.goals.kilt).
Getting there by road
From Junction 13 of the M1, follow the A421 towards Bedford/Cambridge and exit at Marston Moretaine. From the A1, follow the A421 towards Milton Keynes and exit at Marston Moretaine.
From there, follow the brown signs for the Forest Centre. At the roundabout, take the exit into Marston Moretaine (Beancroft Road). At the next junction, turn left, then almost immediately right onto Station Road. Continue for approximately 500m and the Forest Centre entrance will be on the left (Gold Furlong). Turn right into Gold Furlong and follow the driveway to the Forest Centre car park, approximately 600m ahead.

Car parking: Parking is available at the Forest Centre. During the winter and spring months, overflow parking is limited, and the car park can fill quickly, so car sharing is encouraged where possible.
Parking charges: £1 for up to 1 hour or £2 for up to 3 hours.
Please pay at the machines in the car park. Payment can be made by cash, card or via the PayByPhone app (location: Marston Vale, Bedford ? 800979).
Further details
If you have a club shirt please wear this, and we will do a group photo at 8.45am, near the start line, as normal we will cheer all club members home, and if your still energetic after your run, it would be nice to run back and support others.
Food is available at the large cafe near the start/finish and car park, so attendees can decide on the day if they are
going there after running.
